OLM hold an enviable range of accreditations, from Cyber Essentials to being a BSI Platinum Partner and registered against ISO Quality frameworks. These are badges of honour that prove to our customers, partners and suppliers that we prioritise continuous improvement in order to deliver the highest quality services.
ISO27001: Information Security
The ISO 27001 standard outlines best practice and security procedures to organisations, from the ground up, it embeds a ‘best practice culture’.
It helps avoid incidents such as those reported in the media, when employees lose memory sticks containing sensitive information, defining where and when data can and should be accessed. It helps employees see data and the need to protect it every day, whilst also helping your organisation to be legally compliant with data security standards.
OLM are proud to be ISO27001 certified as it shows to potential clients that we practice what we preach. We operate on a best practice basis and can share our knowledge and experience to help get you there.
2018 marked the transition from N3 to HSCN.
During the transition period, a level of disruption amongst clients was expected and OLM have been one of the few organisations qualified to advise these organisations. Why? OLM are trusted by local authorities and healthcare providers for being able to provide clear and concise guidance and advice.
Being an aggregator means that OLM are able to place clients on to our N3 circuits before assisting them with the transfer to HSCN.
The Cyber Essentials accreditation was launched in 2014 and developed by the Government to provide a universal framework for all organisations. It says to your clients that you take your cyber security responsibilities seriously, providing a base level that businesses of all sizes can adhere to, ensuring confidence when working with partner organisations.
In addition to providing confidence externally, it also provides an additional level of confidence internally, as Managers can feel safe in the knowledge that a best practice framework exists in the organisation.
OLM are Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certified to ensure that we can get your organisation to where they need to be.
ISO9001: Quality Management
ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organisations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. This showcases to clients and prospects alike that you take what you are doing seriously and have achieved a certain level of quality in your work.
OLM are perfectionists and believe that our work should speak for itself. This is why we are ISO9001 certified as it showcases the dedication to mastering our craft. We aren’t industry leaders for nothing and have worked for nearly 30 years to achieve a level of quality in our work and are not about to let up know.
Our accreditations provide proof that we know what we are doing and in turn enable OLM to appear with confidence on all major Government buying frameworks. This allows customers and prospects to invest in our solutions without undergoing a long and expensive procurement exercise. It is a reflection on the trust that the industry has in our experience.
We are listed on the following frameworks:
Time is money. We all know this and whilst it is a simple analogy, it is one that we all need to be aware of, as it is never more important than working in health and social care. For example, time savings can make the difference between seeing eight service users in a day or ten. This in turn will provide more stability to more lives and enable person-centred care.
Our ECLIPSE software and services platform can be purchased through the frameworks listed above. This reduces the time from decision to implementation and ultimately benefits those we are looking to care for. Person-centred care is about focusing care on the needs of the person rather than the needs of the service.
People today want choice over their care and how it is prescribed. Rightfully so too. We all deserve the right to choose, for example where we spend our twilight years. If it is a care provider’s home then we should be able to make an informed decision about it. Where it is, how much it costs and what the facilities will offer.
Working in health and social care you have a responsibility to provide as much choice as possible to your service users. The quicker you can do this, the better because then you do not leave people in limbo. Problems in the system emerge when people are left to themselves, with no hope or agenda, similar to the national situation with delayed transfers of care.
Thousands of people are left in hospital beds as no ongoing care has been arranged. They sit in limbo, watching their health fade away, when they either need greater assistance at home or a place in a care provider’s home. Technology can assist with this process, such as our ECLIPSE Bed Management software. It has been especially designed to get people from the bed to where they need to be quicker.
This and other software and services in our ECLIPSE offering can be procured through frameworks that we are listed on, making the time from decision to savings, quicker.
Our accreditations provide customers with the confidence that our years’ experience mean that we have the knowledge and experience to back up what we say. We are our industry leaders and can assist you in saving time and money. You can procure these software and services from the frameworks that we are listed on, further reducing time.
These two pillars lead you to one undeniable conclusion. We have the knowledge and experience to make a difference, and can do so efficiently.
