Peter O'Hara:

Covid-19: A message to our customers from our CEO

Dear Customers

As the Coronavirus situation continues to evolve, our thoughts go out to all who have been impacted or infected. I wish a speedy recovery to all those who are ill and to those whose loved ones are battling this virus. We are proud of all the health practitioners, care and social workers that are continuing their essential work under immense pressure. I want to express admiration and gratitude to you all on the front line, keeping our country going.

As a valued member of the OLM customer user community, we appreciate the trust you place in us to make sure all your critical operational software and services continue as usual. I wanted to reassure you that OLM is 100% focused on ensuring we deliver an uninterrupted support service during this unprecedented period. If there is anything we can do to extend our support services to enable you to release internal capacity to focus on supporting your front line, then please get in touch so we can have a conversation on how we can help.

OLM has been employing digital and remote working methods across the organisation for a number of years. With this in mind, we enabled all our staff to work from home and migrated to a fully virtual operational model from the start of this week. Our colleagues are up and running, working from home around the UK. Our software is being developed and delivered as usual with several releases already deployed to customers this week. All our managed services customers are being fully supported to ensure that systems are always on.  Our product support, business consultancy and training is available as usual via digital means.

Please be reassured that we have business continuity plans in place to ensure we provide an uninterrupted service to you, alongside remaining diligent and responsive to government recommendations and guidance.

We appreciate that these are unprecedented times and the critical nature of your work means that all your energies and resources will be prioritised to support front-line service. Please be assured that we are taking the situation very seriously and working through how we need to evolve our services.

Finally, I wanted to reiterate how proud my colleagues and I are to work in this sector. Thank you to everyone that is on the front line, and to those doing the right thing and looking out for others.

Best wishes,

Peter O’Hara
