Integration

Integration and Interoperability across Health, Social Care and their partners

OLM believes that connecting patient information across health and social care is a key enabler of integrated, person-centred care, supporting organisations to deliver higher quality, safer care, whilst also reducing the cost of service delivery.

As a member of techUK’s Interoperability Charter, we are committed to ensuring our information systems use open standards to deliver secure and interoperable services. Our Platform for Care is fully interoperable and has been developed to integrate and interface with a wide range of systems, minimising the costs associated with replacing systems.

With over 20 years experience, our integrations services team has supported organisations to join up systems across Care (NHS, Housing, Education, Police and Fire Services), maximising the ability to share data safely and securely.

Our success is tangibly evident with more than 90 integration solutions completed for our customers.  These cover a wide range of projects - from joining up case management applications through to document management and financial systems. This supports care professionals in being more efficient and effective by facilitating the reduction of data input to support them spending more time with their patients/clients.

We are approved and accrediated on national frameworks and initiatives such as GPSoC and CP-IS leading the way integration.

Using OLM's solutions and expertise, we have enabled Joined up working with Health, service providers and charities to deliver better outcomes for our citizens

Integration specialists

Our expert integration services team have helped Social Care Departments and Healthcare Trusts in the UK deliver successful integrated solutions that make a difference, both on a local and regional basis.  These include access to Central Spine services including patient administration systems, electronic prescribing and the Personal Demographic Services (PDS). Our vast experience in the Care sector covers the full lifecycle of managing, developing and implementing integration.

RESTful APIs

Our integration specialists use RESTful APIs to join up systems, delivering more open, higher-performing and maintainable architecture.  As an organisation, we are committed to open source technology and have embedded integration capability into our Platform with interoperability in mind. This supports effective interfacing with external systems, ensuring our Platform solution can combine data and functions with other systems, addressing the needs of multi-agency and multi-department information sharing.  We can support integration on all bases covering real-time connectivity, batch processing, or flat file imports.

Complete business solutions

Integration from both a technical and business perspective ensures that an intervention by a professional is based on comprehensive multi-agency information.  This is key to ensuring quicker and more effective decision-making based on the full view of a patient/client, facilitating more targeted, effective services and ultimately, giving professionals more face-to-face time with clients.

We work closely with customers to deliver the full range of services from consultancy, to project management and business engagement. We are able to provide guidance, support and direction to deliver solutions that meet business needs and drive customers’ integration agendas to provide better services for their citizens.
